What a fun weekend we had!
On Saturday after a fun afternoon in the yard, Paul and I took Wilder to a Padres game with Rachel, Frank, and Lexi. We sat in the bleacher seats behind the "beach" in the outfield and it was the perfect spot for the toddlers to climb, explore, and play in the sand. Not so great if you want to actually watch the game -- I still don't even know who won, oops -- but it was such a fun evening with good friends.
Today Rachel and I took the babies to the Hullabaloo Kids' Music Festival at the Bernardo Winery in Rancho Bernardo. It was a beautiful day and there were endless things for Wilder and Lexi to investigate, which they thoroughly took advantage of. It was so much fun to watch them having such a good time.
Spinning and dancing
Tonight Paul, Wilder, and I walked down the street to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Urban Solace. It was delicious as always and Wilder had a great time studying all the other patrons and watching Curious George on my phone. This boy is obsessed with Curious George. We don't let him watch TV except a little PBS when he wakes up in the morning and all he ever wants is that one show. He will bring us the remote and do his monkey impression, ooh-ooh's, monkey arms, and all. How can we resist that?
Hope you all had a great weekend as well!
